Following our webinar series, Social Value: Embedding, Measuring, and Communicating Impact, UN Global Compact Network UK is hosting a day of in-person roundtables for senior social value practitioners. You don’t need to have attended the webinars to join.

The day brings together a small group of peers to share challenges and good practice openly, under the Chatham House Rule. It’s made up of two connected sessions, each opening with a short technical presentation, followed by member case studies and peer-to-peer discussion. Attendees are asked to join both sessions.

Agenda

Morning: Place-Based Community Investment and Employee Volunteering (10:00–12:00)
How to build community investment and volunteering strategies that respond to genuine local need, develop long-term charity partnerships rather than one-off transactions, and measure real impact beyond money donated and hours logged.

Lunch and networking (12:00–13:00)

Afternoon: Apprenticeships, Work Placements, and Social Mobility (13:00–15:00)
How to design, measure, and report the social value of apprenticeships, work placements, and outreach, moving beyond headcount to show real impact on employability, social mobility, and community resilience, and how to connect that evidence to procurement frameworks and ESG reporting.

You’ll leave with practical ideas, new peer connections, and the confidence to increase the impact of your social value work.
