Douglas is a Vice President in Santander Corporate & Investment Banking’s (Santander CIB) Sustainable Capital Markets team, part of the broader ESG Solutions group. In his role, he advises clients in the development of sustainable finance strategies and the structuring of various sustainable finance instruments, including bonds, loans, project finance, supply chain finance, derivatives, and other products. Prior to joining Santander CIB, Douglas worked at NatWest for over eight years, where he was most recently a Vice President in the Climate & ESG Capital Markets team, responsible for structuring and executing sustainable debt instruments for Financial Institutions and Sovereign, Supranational & Agency clients. Before focusing on sustainable finance, Douglas worked in a variety of other roles within investment banking, including Debt Capital Markets and Risk Solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and is a CFA Charterholder.
