Daniel Egerton leads sustainability at Eakin Healthcare, a Northern Ireland medical device manufacturer serving patients in 60+ countries. Since joining the UN Global Compact in 2023, Eakin has participated in the UN SDG Innovator Programme for three consecutive years and, in 2026, became one of only 11 NI businesses with SBTi-validated climate targets.

Eakin’s value-chain strategy supports product safety, quality and performance while reducing emissions and advancing circularity. Through collaboration with colleagues, patients, medical professionals, customers, policymakers and suppliers, Eakin embeds sustainability into product design and supply chains, aligning with initiatives such as Design for Life and Greener NHS.
