Gareth has been with Recycling Lives since 2021 and working with SUEZ at the Renew Hub almost from day one. Here he oversees the electrics pod, which has processed tens of thousands of electrical items in the last three years. Alongside this Gareth also manages the woodwork pod where all forms of furniture are given a new leash of life.

Gareth’s background is in electrical appliance repairs, previously working for Brighthouse with a team of engineers who repaired TV’s, computer, games consoles and mobile phones.

At the Hub Gareth also oversaw the Achieve programme working with ex-offenders from 2022. Since then, 53 people have taken part in an eight-week placement with 24 of those offered new jobs including 9 who got full time contracts with SUEZ.
